Forest Kindergarten Ages 2-6

      Our Mixed Age Forest Kindergarten is a full nature immersion program that focuses on free play, imagination, nature connection, social and emotional development, healthy risk-taking, handcraft and creative expression.  Our days flow with the rhythm of the seasons, the weather and the interests of the children, but are always infused with magic, growth, learning and fun!

Summer Program Mixed Age

      The Happy Place continues the fun and nature exploration through summer to offer children ongoing nature immersion and connection with the land and each other.  We continue with much of our forest program curriculum and also add in days spent at the Pecos River, gardening and cooking, water play and field trips.

Grades

      We are thrilled to announce the upcoming expansion of The Happy Place into grade school! We will be merging nature connection with academics and more focused areas of learning with an emphasis on educating the whole child and nurturing their emotional, physical, mental ,and spiritual intelligence.  Our curriculum will maintain the magic and wonder of early childhood with experiential learning that will last a lifetime.  Stay tuned for more!
