Tuition Agreement Form

Please read and sign and submit upon registration

This form is a legal agreement between The Happy Place LLC and the parent/legal guardian of child attending and is designed to create clarity and avoid any confusion around payment of tuition.

Parents/Guardians shall pay tuition fees based on the rates and schedules specified below.  Fees will not be adjusted for late arrival, early pick-up, missed days or school closures due to weather, holidays, sickness or other unforseen circumstance.  The Happy Place will do it's best to create make up days for school closures due to weather, sickness or unforseen event, but cannot guarantee this.

The tuition agreement is for the length of the school year or the length of summer camp, should you need to withdraw your child early you are still responsible for payment for the full agreement unless another arrangement with The Happy Place is created.  The Happy Place will do it's best to accomodate early withdrawl by finding another child to take your child's place, but this is not a guarantee.

Tuition and Fees 

There is a $400 materials fee for the school year due upon registration. This fee does not apply to summer camp.

Monthly tuition for School Year and Summer Camp

5 days/wk: $1,260-$1,365
4 days/wk: $1,020-$1,105
3 days/wk: $780-$845
2 days/wk: $540-$585

Timing and Method of Payment

Parent/Guardian shall pay tuition fees on or before the 5th of each month. Payments can be made in cash, check or online at www.thehappyplaceschool.com. There will be a $50.00 late fee for late payments and a $35.00 returned check fee. After a second returned check notice all future payment will be made in cash or online. If your child withdraws from The Happy Place while a balance remains on their account, he/she cannot return until balance is paid in full.

Late Pick-up Fee

Please contact The Happy Place immediately if you will be late to pick up your child. At the teacher's discretion a $1.00/minute fee may be charged until the pick up time. This fee will go on the next month's payment if not paid before.

Termination of Attendance

If The Happy Place decides the school is not a right fit for your child for any reason and terminates future attendance, the tuition agreement will end with that month and parent/guardian will not be responsible for future payments beyond the termination date.

All efforts will be made to address issues before termination.  Collaboration and peaceful and constructive communication between teachers, parents/guardians and students will set everyone up for the greatest success in resolving issues.

Modification of Terms

The Happy Place is entitled to change any of the terms in this contract, including, but not limited to the fees, by providing the parent/guardian with 30 days written notice of such changes.
